In 2002, Felix Industries constructed the Mooney Hancock Arts Center at Ursuline. Felix Petrillo P'93, GP'21 '24, the President and CEO of the company at the time, remarked, "It is like putting an addition on my home." The Ursuline School has been another home to the Petrillo family since the late 1980s when their only daughter, Maria Elena Petrillo Corcoran ‘93 (ReRe), began at the school. And Ursuline is so much better for it!

In addition to their many leadership donations and pledges over the years, Carol and Felix Petrillo have given countless hours to Ursuline. Carol served as President of the Mothers' Auxiliary from 1990 - 1992, and later as a member of the Board of Trustees from 1994 - 2000. During her Board tenure, Carol was on the Steering Committee for the Arts Building Campaign. Additionally, Carol has continued to support the annual Fashion Show as a former Mothers’ Auxiliary President.

The Petrillos have been honored by other local organizations where their support has been game-changing such as Iona Preparatory School, Sound Shore Medical Center and Cancer Support Team. Carol and Felix Petrillo are long-time parishioners of St. Pius X Church in Scarsdale where Carol served as a President of the Parish Council.

The family’s energy is infectious - they make everything more fun! Having enjoyed their time at Ursuline when ReRe '93 was a student here, Carol and Felix are delighted to be back at the school, this time as grandparents to Caroline '21 and incoming freshman Anna '24!
